The soldiers where 72 dpi screen grabs of the video and had to enlarge for metro bus posters.

Basically they had to be redrawn, all the other elements are add ons too, the sky, planes & foreground all from different shots.

Really needed all my years of training on this one, the full image has the grandad with his two girls and it was all as bad as on the left, took me two months off and on, the client was blown away with the result.
